English Class is going to end...

The 5 week for English Intensive class! Time flies, English class is going to end soon. This week is the last week for lecture and next week will be all the submission for all the assignments. Finally I can have a short holiday after this!

This week I learn about Grammar which is my weakness part. Grammar is too difficult for me because that is too much of things need to be memorize. I just feel I am not strong in this part, that's why I am still cannot write a good article until now... It is not difficult to learn something, just see whether the person really wanted to do or not. So I choose to do and learn it because if I do not want to learn now, I know I will get jeer from others.

So do not be afraid to learn something that you think it is difficult for you. Not everyone can be successful because not everyone willing to step out from their comfort zone. So you want to be the successful one or the get jeer one?  

Phonetic and Writing

Looks interesting right! Ya, this week what I have learn is all about phonetic and pronounce. It is amazing! And I am already done my Phonetic assignment.

Other than that, this week writing class tutorial. We have watch 2 short films, 1 is The Translator and another 1 is about LGBT. What I learn from the video is No cheat, no lie, no steal and don't try to be smart and cheat others.

A substantial week

Assignment, assignment, assignment! A ton of assignments made me headache but I am enjoy with it because that is fun and amazing. A lot of friends ask me why my college give me so much of the assignments, organize so many events and do so much like hell during my college life? My answer is when you young you LEARN, when you old you EARN! The more you do, the more you learn. 

I am felt very substantial for this week. I did shooting, interview, editing and more for my English assignments. Moreover, this week writing class I have learn the topic of audience and what's the purpose of writing. We must know about our audiences and identify them with the 5 area, which is age group, gender, language, income and status the last one will be race and ethnicity.  

Other than that, this Wednesday me and my group did interview with Ms. Ivy. It was a good experience for me, during the interview Ms. Ivy share a lot of her story to us. She talk about PLKN's life, college life and now her working life. 

English Intensive Class

Appreciate, appreciate PORTMAN College to provide us English Intensive class during the long semester break without any tuition fees to improve our English. From the first day I join this English Intensive class, I am very appreciate and excited  because I know that my English is not good but this English Intensive class may help me to improve my English. Thank for the opportunity I can learn more from all the lecturers.

I am a person who afraid of English writing, I have no confidence to write a short an article, letter even a short sentences. In my mind, my English level is very low compare to my classmates, I don't think I can write in English. But after joining Intensive class for 2 weeks, I notice that actually I can write in English. And now, I would like to share my writing experience in the past 2 week.

Wednesday English Writing Skills tutorial class, Ms. Thinesswary conduct a group activity about write a poem with the title of "LOVE" and present in class. Some of the group wrote about the relationship between family, couples, or friends, every group have different perception on Love and different writing skills on the poem. However, my group has created a poem about love is Science.
Below is the poem that we wrote "Unconditional Love."

      Unconditional Love

Love is about Chemistry,
Combination of heart's elements,
Being pulled together by the force of attraction,
A compound is formed.

Love is about Physics,
Combination of hot and cold water,
Being poured into a cup to warm each others,
Thermal equilibrium is achieved.

Love is about Biology,
Combination of two genders,
Being hugged together without any worries,
Sense of security is felt.

Love is all about you and me!
